Dartmouth Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Program (MALS)

专业解读：

这个专业跟大部分学校的masters degree不一样，他是一个通识教育的学位，里面含了4个track

1 Creative Writing：涉及到小说、剧本、新闻等

2 Cultural Studies track：性别研究、族群研究、媒体与表演研究、后殖民研究等。

3 Liberal Studies：The Liberal Studies track is interdisciplinary in nature and allows students to engage in both directed and independent work on subjects that are not bound by the curricula of traditional disciplines.

4 Globalization Studies： 从全球视角探索政府、战争与和平、政治、公共政策、社会学和人类学。

这四个track各有不同的研究领域，可以根据自己的研究兴趣进行选择。值得一提的是2跟4，很多同学想要申请这些专业，但是不知道达特茅斯的这些专业是镶嵌在MALS里面的。 

既然哥大宾大康奈尔MPA MPP 文化研究那么难了，为什么不去申请达特茅斯的MALS呢？
